ASBJ releases Exposure Draft of Proposed Amendments to Accounting Standard for Treasury Shares and Appropriation of Legal Reserve and its Implementation Guidance

The Accounting Standards Board of Japan (ASBJ) has today released for public comment the Exposure Draft of Proposed Amendments to ASBJ Statement No1 (revised 2005) Accounting Standard for Treasury Shares and Appropriation of Legal Reserve (Exposure Draft of Statement, No.15) and the Exposure Draft of Proposed Amendments to ASBJ Guidance No.2 (revised 2005) Guidance on Accounting Standard for Treasury Shares and Appropriation of Legal Reserve (Exposure Draft of Guidance, No.17).

The comment deadline is July 5, 2006.
