The ASBJ submitted the following paper for the “IAS 12 Pillar Two – Sharing information on implementation” session during the Accounting Standards Advisory Forum (ASAF) meeting scheduled in September 2023:

Status of Implementation of OECD Pillar Two Model Rules in Japan

The ASBJ will share the status of implementation of OECD Pillar Two Modal Rules in Japan and the update on the development of Japanese GAAP.

The ASBJ hopes that the paper contributes to the international discussions related to the accounting issues resulting from the implementation of OECD Pillar Two Model Rules.
